On Wednesday, July 9th I gave a talk to Portland Peak Oil on the Transition Town movement. The slide presentation that accompanied the talk was put together using Apple’s Keynote (their answer to Microsoft’s PowerPoint).

In order to minimise the errors due to compatibility between software, I have exported the slides to a pdf file. There are two options to download. The larger file contains each transition used in the presentation, and so more detail. The smaller file just the slides as a “light box”, giving an overview of the slideshow, but less detail. The  picture to the right is from the document produced by Portland Peak Oil Task Force. This document was put together by Portland City Council, and includes, “recommendations to reduce oil use and strengthen the community’s ability to respond to social and economic stress.”
