The Aurora Borealis is something that I would very much like to see. I am guessing that pictures and videos probably do not do the visual experience justice. Having said that, here is a video from Helge Mortensen of the Aurora Borealis at Tromvik, Norway. This occurrence was caused by a CME, Coronal Mass Ejection, which "are huge bubbles of the solar atmosphere that are thrown out into interplanetary space," - more information on CMEs can be found here.
