Here we are looking down from the mezzanine floor to the SCAN wood burning stove. The brick surround is made of recycled bricks which heated up as the stove got warmer. This heat dissipated slowy througout the house. Lying in bed with heat from the stove keeping me warm and the dance of fire reflected on the walls and ceilings is a fond memory of living there.
