I love doing puzzles. One thing that never fails to happen to me when I’m doing a puzzle is time spent on one area, one particular pattern. I’ll spend time looking for pieces connected with that area, successfully fitting some together, but never them all. And so the search continues for those elusive pieces.
Then I get called off and have to leave the puzzle alone.
Hours later I am just passing the puzzle. I have no intention of spending much time with it, indeed almost walk past it altogether….
… But I stop. … I look at the pieces on the table, move them around and in no time at all the pattern is complete. … I had all of the pieces in the first place…I just couldn’t see how they fitted together.
That never fails to happen. Every time that I do a puzzle. See? I just did a quick search of my blog. It turns out that I posted the same thing 2½ years ago! 🧩
